Seeing Machines is an award winning Australian company that uses advanced technologies to track eye and facial movement in order to monitor fatigue, drowsiness and distraction events. Seeing Machines' technology is used worldwide across the automotive, aviation, transport and mining industries.
In 2015, Seeing Machines launched Guardian, a new product for the commercial fleet market to bring driver fatigue and distraction detection to truck drivers. Throughout FY2016, we invested in sales, marketing, operations and product development and launched a presence in the UK.
Since we commenced our UK operations over 12 months ago, we have received strong market demand for our cutting-edge technology. We have already won key accounts and developed strategic partnerships. This is a genuine ground-breaking opportunity for a Business Development Professional to establish a foot-print in the South East region and be part of that continued success.
The role reports directly to the Director of Business Development (Europe & Africa) and is responsible for meeting direct product sales targets and supporting indirect sales channels for the UK Region. Other accountabilities include:
· Developing and driving all Sales & Marketing processes and performance
· Establishing sales targets and budgets and securing the business from initiation to conversion
· Negotiating with stakeholders in our market segments
· Establishing strategic partnerships
This is a full-time remote-working position where you can be based in a regional hub. However, given the wide geographical reach of our market, you can telecommute from anywhere in the South East of England region.
You will have strong business relationship skills, proven sales experience and solid industry knowledge with the capacity to consult extensively to a broad range of stakeholders.
