About the opportunity
As our business expands globally and to complement the monitoring services currently provided out of our Tucson office - we are seeking casual, part-time analysts for our newly established Guardian Monitoring Centre in Canberra.
Our analysts play an incredibly important role reviewing video footage, captured by our driver monitoring technology in the field - to determine possible fatigue and distraction events. They also liaise with our customers and advise them of driver fatigue situations so that they can manage the safety of their drivers and their fleet, actively contributing to road safety worldwide.

This work is time sensitive, so you'll also be comfortable working within tight time pressures and have a track record of meeting deadlines, all while maintaining accuracy and the highest levels of attention to detail. In addition, you will be well versed in the MS Office suite, and able to learn new software applications quickly.
We are looking for people who have:
- good attention to detail
- the ability to work in a team environment
- good computer skills
- the ability to travel to and from work at our Fyshwick office
This opportunity is ideal for people who are seeking the flexibility that shift work can offer. We have two 6 hour shifts per day, 11.15am to 5.30pm, and 5.15pm to 11.30pm – including weekends. These roles are based in Canberra, and you must have the right to live and work in the Australia to be eligible for appointment.
You will be well supported in the workplace, with Seeing Machines providing an inclusive and supportive work environment where you can realise your full potential.

About Guardian Accident Prevention Technology
Guardian by Seeing Machines is a real-time driver fatigue and distraction solution that is scientifically proven to reduce driver related fatigue events by upwards of 90%.
Face- and gaze-tracking algorithms measure the driver's head position and eye closure and, when safety parameters are exceeded, audio alarms and seat vibration are immediately activated. Guardian also features a forward-facing camera which captures critical information about road conditions at the time of an event. Guardian combines this in-cab intervention with 24/7 support and analytics services, providing a complete safety solution for commercial vehicles.
When a fatigue or distraction event is detected, data and footage are immediately relayed to the 24/7 Guardian Monitoring Centre, which then alerts our customers and allows them to respond in real time to a developing driver fatigue situation.
Today Guardian has intervened in more than 50,000 fatigue or distraction events and is used by leading transport and logistics companies across the globe.
